How to Transfer FileZilla Setting to iCloud Drive and Link to them using Symbolic Links

Objective: While transferring files from an older machine to a newer one, retain FileZilla settings.

Location of said FileZilla settings, on OS X seems to be ~/.config/filezilla — so,

1. Close FileZilla on both machines (really important!)
2. Open Finder in Home directory
3. Press CMD-Shift-G to “Go To Folder” and type .config
4. Select the filezilla folder, copy it to clipboard
5. Press CMD-Shift-I to enter the iCloud Drive and select Paste.
6. Enter the filezilla folder and look at it upload on your old computer.
7. At the same time enter the filezilla folder on your new computer and make sure that all uploads finish! If they don’t, select the files that are not present yet, and right-click on them and select “Download Now”. Make sure that all files have downloaded, and..
8. Launch FileZilla.
